The Bavarian resort of Reit im Winkl is a winter wonderland ideal for both beginner and intermediate snow-lovers, with wide, gentle slopes, modern lift systems, and cosy alpine adventures in abundance.
Though this German resort is small, it is fierce, featuring 40km of stunning blue and red runs across the Steinplatte Winklmoosalm ski area, along with an additional 80km of cross-country ski trails connecting neighbouring Ruhpolding. Snowboarders will enjoy the terrain park and half-pipe, while non-skiers can get their fill exploring multiple winter walking trails through the tree-lined valley on the German-Austrian border.
